Iulius-Cezar Macarie

Year of Enrollment:
2013

PhD Candidate (SocAnth) and Marie-Sklodowska Curie Alumni researcher on an FP7 INTEGRIM funded research project in International Migration and Integration of Migrants (INTEGRIM) between 09.2013-12.2016. Macarie carried out multi-sited nocturnal workshops in London and other European capitals. The PhD is an interdisciplinary project on migration and precarisation of night shift workers travelling to/from, working and living in global cities. My research on the complexities of human experience on the move, being moved or removed is reflected through conversations between in-depth research and story making & telling of people living in the nocturnal cities of the future.
